Choosing a hosting plan means looking beyond the price in the largest type. How many websites can you run? What help will you get when you move? What will you pay when the first term ends? This FAQ compares Faciotech's published shared hosting plans with Bluehost's published web hosting plans, using the USD prices shown on 16 October 2026. Prices and offers can change, so confirm the plan and final amount at checkout.
What shared hosting plans does Faciotech offer?
Faciotech lists four shared hosting plans. The figures below are for one-month billing in USD; its page shows the same price for the next monthly renewal on each card. Tax and optional add-ons are confirmed at checkout.
On a phone, swipe the tables sideways to see every column.
| Faciotech plan | Published monthly price and renewal | Websites | Suggested use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential Hosting | $1.39 per month | 1 | A portfolio, personal site, or simple business page |
| Growth Hosting | $3.33 per month | 2 | An active business site with room for a second site |
| Performance Hosting | $4.90 per month | 4 | Several brands or a heavier WordPress site |
| Commerce | $7.51 per month | 8 | A store or a business managing several customer-facing sites |
All four cards list SSL, one-click WordPress, a Sitejet website builder, unmetered bandwidth, and website transfer help. The shared hosting page also describes cPanel tools for files, databases, email, backups, redirects, and DNS. Growth, Performance, and Commerce list a free domain for the first year; check the domain terms and renewal before ordering. The public plan cards do not give a numeric storage allowance, so ask for the exact storage and resource limits if they matter to your site.
How much do Bluehost's comparable plans cost?
Bluehost's featured USD prices are introductory rates for a 36-month term. They are monthly equivalents for that term, not the price of buying a single month. Its page lists these figures, excluding VAT and GST:
| Bluehost plan | 36-month introductory rate | 36-month renewal rate | Published websites and storage |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $3.99 per month | $9.99 per month | 10 websites; 10 GB NVMe |
| Business | $6.99 per month | $13.99 per month | 50 websites; 50 GB NVMe |
| eCommerce Essentials | $14.99 per month | $21.99 per month | 100 websites; 100 GB NVMe |
Bluehost also lists other plans and term lengths. For example, its renewal table shows Starter at $15.99 per month on a monthly renewal, $11.99 per month on a 12-month renewal, and $9.99 per month on a 36-month renewal. Check the term you select rather than applying the 36-month price to a shorter commitment.
Can I compare those prices directly?
Only after matching the billing terms and the features you need. Faciotech's figures above are for a one-month purchase and the next one-month renewal. Bluehost's featured prices require a 36-month initial purchase. For example, Starter's $3.99 rate represents $143.64 for 36 months before applicable taxes and extras, followed by a published 36-month renewal rate of $9.99 per month. It is possible to choose a shorter Bluehost term, but its price is different.
Bluehost says its promotional prices apply to the initial term and renew at regular rates. Faciotech says the prices on its current monthly cards are what customers renew at. Neither statement fixes the price of every future purchase forever. Also compare domain and email costs: Bluehost's qualifying free domain covers the first year, then renews at the applicable rate, while its professional email offer is a free trial. Faciotech lists domain-based email tools with shared hosting and a first-year domain on selected plans. Review both checkouts for taxes, domains, email, backups, and any optional add-ons.
Which features differ between Faciotech and Bluehost?
Both providers advertise SSL and help with moving a WordPress site. Bluehost's plan page also lists a CDN, managed WordPress updates, 24/7 chat support, and a free WordPress migration tool. Its Business and eCommerce Essentials cards list weekly website backups, security features, and phone support. Those are real Bluehost features; a fair comparison should not assume that switching to Faciotech is the only way to get them.
Faciotech's offer puts more emphasis on hands-on setup. Its team advertises free assisted migration with checks for files, databases, email, DNS, and SSL; shared plans include cPanel access for ongoing management. Its page says support includes people in Ghana and Canada alongside 24/7 AI assistance. It also offers payment in GHS, USD, or CAD, with available methods shown at checkout. Bluehost publishes much larger website and storage allowances in the plans shown above, while Faciotech's public shared hosting page focuses on smaller site counts and a $1.39 one-month entry price. If you have a large portfolio, need a stated storage quota, or want a particular backup schedule or support channel, verify the exact plan details before deciding.
Which plan should a small business choose?
Start with the number of sites you actually operate and the work those sites do. A single brochure site, portfolio, or early business blog may fit Faciotech Essential. Growth gives a business room for a second site. Performance or Commerce may suit multiple brands or a store, provided the site's traffic and resource needs still fit shared hosting. Ask for the resource limits if you run a busy store, large catalogue, or heavy application; a cloud or VPS plan may be more appropriate.
Bluehost Starter already advertises capacity for 10 sites and may appeal if you want its wider stated allowance and can commit to the selected term. Business and eCommerce Essentials add still more published storage and site capacity, with features aimed at growing sites and stores. A WooCommerce label does not automatically make one plan the best choice for every shop: check your plugins, order volume, payment setup, backup needs, and support expectations. The right comparison is the total cost and usable features for your own website over the term you are willing to buy.
Can I move a website to Faciotech without taking it offline?
Faciotech offers free assisted migration into shared hosting and describes a zero-downtime target for cPanel-to-cPanel transfers. That is a migration goal, not a guarantee for every website. The team checks files, databases, email accounts, DNS, and SSL and schedules the cutover around business hours. A WordPress site, a custom application, and an online store can require different preparation, especially when new orders or form submissions arrive while data is being copied.
Before changing DNS, keep the existing hosting active, make a current backup, test the copy on its new server, and agree how recent content, enquiries, or orders will be handled. Check the public site and email after the switch. Read our three-step Faciotech migration guide, see Faciotech's migration service, or ask the team to review your current setup and cutover plan. If you remain with Bluehost, its published plans include a free tool for migrating WordPress sites.
